WHY WE'RE HERE
We love YouTube. It is a hub for education, news, and inspiration. Tube Alerts was envisioned and brought to life by Elijah Parker, with the help of Daniel Cauley.
In April 2022 we began the process of fixing a problem we couldn’t stop thinking about; YouTube’s notification system. Although we received tons of notifications from YouTube, they were often slow or irrelevant to our interests. As we began to research this problem, and a fix for it, we found that many YouTube users and creators were frustrated as well.
Thus Tube Alerts was born. We thought if we could offer YouTube’s users notifications that they want, without any of the ones they don’t, we may be on to something. As we tested this product for ourselves, we realized we could offer more than just selectiveness. Not only could we offer tailored notifications, but we could deliver them within moments, often even seconds of their posting.
